Tell The FCC What You REALLY Think!

Below you will find the template you can use to submit your reply comments! Reply comments should address issues or points raised during the initial comment period, and refer specifically to the commenter and the position they take. Many of the substantial comments are a hefty 50 pages or more, and take on all of the issues raised in the FCC's Notice of Proposed Rulemaking. You don't have to do that! You may respond to one issue that is particularly relevant to your community or station.

Click here to read Prometheus' and our allies' comments! Over twenty five organizations and stations signed on!

Click here to read the Pacifica Foundation's reply comments, which offer a great summary of our stand on the issues, and will give you an idea of what reply comments could look like!

Click here to read what the National Association of Broadcasters has to say about LPFM--a lengthy document indeed--we recommend pages 10-20 on upholding the third adjacent channel restriction.

Click here (.doc format) to read National Public Radio's comments: boo, NPR. The beginning summary gives a good idea of where they're coming from.

Click here for some handy points you might want to include in your comments. Click here to read about Fourteen and a Half Ways the FCC can improve Low Power FM radio, and read on to write the comments that the FCC will use to make Low Power FM a better and stronger service for all of us, and for thousands more people across the country. And for a great summary of all the questions the FCC asked us in the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, click here!

This form will submit your comments into the Federal Communications Docket on Low Power FM. The FCC recently released a new Notice of Proposed Rulemaking -- and we have the opportunity to tell the FCC how best to redesign Low Power FM to really serve our community groups, and our neighborhoods.

Below please find a form that will allow you to send your comments to the FCC! Prometheus founder Pete Tridish has developed a list of questions that you should keep by your computer as you write your comments.

If you would like to copy your comments to your Senator or Congressman, or save them for your records, email us for assistance! Or look up your comment in 36-48 hours here -- http://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/ecfs/comsrch_v2.cgi -- you're searching for your comment in proceeding/docket number 99-25.

If the below form doesn't work for you, click here -- Send Comment from the FCC's Sites -- to send your comment directly from the FCC's site.

If you need to send an attachment to the FCC on your comment, send it using this site -- http://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/ecfs/upload_v2.cgi, listing docket 99-25 as the proceeding number, and follow the listed instructions.
