Prometheus Barn Raising

Portsmouth, New Hampshire
September 10, 11, 12, 2004

Alert: Coming to Portsmouth in the next 24 hours? Confused about what to do, where to go? You're off to 909 Islington Street, the Button Factory, and the numbers there are 603.430.9822 and 603.430.9722. Feel free to call (323) 868 8782 (Kate) or 845.399.3730 (Dharma) if neither of those numbers work!

Here are a few hotels you might consider, if you'd like a very comfortable bed and an en-suite shower to add to your barnraising experience. These are special deals worked out by the Portsmouth Community Radio organizers -- thanks to them for helping to accomodate all the visitors in need of hotels!

We are dedicated, here at the Prometheus Radio Project, to making sure that if you need a cheap or free place to crash, you will have it. We are extremely busy right now with many aspects of the barnraising, as well as with our legislative efforts to expand the service and our workshops in NYC.

We will try as best we can to get you at least a floor to sleep on. Please bring your own sleeping bag and pillow, as well as your own tent if you can! And consider renting a hotel room and splitting it with a bunch of friends, if you can, too. Then you'll have a shower of your own to enjoy and share -- think of that!

Check back here regularly for more housing information. And call these hotels if you have questions on how close they are to the barnraising site, or if you need any other information from them. The barnraising will be held at a building called The Button Factory, at 909 Islington St, Portsmouth, NH.
